Asheville Kennel Club, Hendersonville Kennel Club, and Spartanburg Kennel Club annually present the Blue Ridge Classic of the Carolinas AKC dog shows, held the Thursday thru Monday of Memorial Day weekend at the WNC Ag Center, Fletcher, NC
Oct 2024 Fast CAT
Fast CAT® – which stands for Coursing Ability Test – is a timed 100-yard dash where dogs run one at a time, chasing a lure. It's over before you know it — and it's nothing short of awe-inspiring to watch your dog run at top speed, ears back, eyes focused, legs strong.
All SKC Fast CAT trials are operated by SKC club volunteers and our friends at Time to Fly and entry for any of our events is hosted on their website at https://timetoflydogs.com/
If you are just getting started in Fast CAT, you can do Fun Runs to see if your dog will participate. Check Time to Fly’s website for more info or reach out to us with any questions you may have!

CGC Testing
We will hold our annual Canine Good Citizen test starting at 6:30pm. No need to signup - just come to the club ready to test. If you have questions or need guidance for preparing for the test, send an email on our contact page and will assist you asap.

Handling Class
This Handling Class session will begin Tues July 16th, repeating each Tuesday, and ending August 27th.
Class time is 6:30 PM. Instructor is Loreen Wunderlich.
Dogs must have had 2 sets of vaccines to participate.
